All Power America APG3014 Review

Well, here my first review on my blog. I initiative to write this review because a few week ago, my father bought a portable generator for home. Actually, I really don’t know about this product. But when my father have an idea to buy this things, then I find information about this product on the net.

These days, portable generator has become home equipment that is really important and every family must have it at least one. This is All Power America APG3014. The portable generator that has been bought by my father. Take a look the picture below. I think the design is good, powerful and of course portable. This generator is really easy to carry anywhere you want. But it seems to be difficult if you take it alone without help of others.

My father bought this generator for power outages and as he said it works well for light use. He really like the light weight.

I tested the generator simulating a power outage and it performed fairly well. It powered our natural gas central heating and blower motor, refrigerator, computers, bathroom exhaust fans, and lights — all at the same time.

Before I ran this generator, first check the fuel and filled it with gas and oil. Then I took a few pulls and started it. Ran a bit rough (surging) but smoothed out a bit after warming. I adjusted the power and it ran just fine. I have only run it a couple of times totaling less than half hour of time just to check it and to accommodate my house  a little enclosure for it.

As I say in above, this generator is really easy to carry anywhere you want. There is less cable so setting the electricity up is a piece of cake with this generator on your side. The price is also very reasonable too. This generator is really suitable for those who like camping in the wild. Bringing this along will save you the effort of making a bonfire for lighting. I think I will bring this generator when my family hold an outdoor recreation. Really helpful for this event.

Though there is something that make me disappoint. The product says to be able to produce up to 1400v. However, the fact is it can only produce up to 1300v. The bad things is my generator did not come with the Manual, but did have a tag that said to be sure and check the oil, gas, etc.

The conclusion is the product is not a bad unit for the price. Other than that, this generator is the cheapest you can get. This thing will not power a ceramic heater, it does not have the juice for things like that. It wont do your toaster nor your microwave. What it will do. It will charge your phones, your laptops, run your computer, run your refrigerator.
